Re: Windshield Wiper arms

There is a lever/tab underneath the arm...by the shaft on the cowl. Depress it while pulling the arm upward. It is a little tricky, so be careful and take your time.

Re: Windshield Wiper arms

I have one that was not on streight and was glad to find out about the little tab you push in. I tried this and got mine off and now it is on streight.

Re: Windshield Wiper arms

There is a special tool that you can purchase to lift the wiper arms off with and it makes theprocess absolutely easy and "ONE-Handed". I made one and use it for a long time, but later I purchased this $8.00 thing and I wished I had done it along time ago.

Attached is the Snap-On Tool item for this, but there are other companies that sell the same thing for a little less. http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item....re&dir=catalog

Re: Windshield Wiper arms

i just was able to pry up with a screwdriver covered in a rag so you don't scratch it.then i went one step further and removed the whole wiper assembly and motor.cleaned up the firewall bigtime.you don't need wipers there eeally overated. it never rains in frisco either, does it?(thats a joke, before everybody lays it on) luckily,i have the luxury of not driving it in the rain.which here in the s.w washington isn't very often.
