Hooker headers and brake line

I have a set of hooker super comps on my 70 c-10. Should I be worried about the direct contact with the brake line that goes around the frame on the pass. side?

very much so yes.
Either dimple the tube, or re route the line, or a compination of both.
you want an inch of space at a minimum between the headers and the line, and alos, the headers and the frame... the frame can transmit the heat better than you'd think.
If your brake fluid starts to boil, then you'll have minimal, to no braking power down stream of that line.

Anybody elese runnin' these headers? Mine are almost (1/4") from frame and on the brake line. I am running new brake lines, so I will obviously detour around this, but the fuel line is not for from the header + frame contact point.
That can't be good.

places like speedway motors summit jegs all sell thermo sleeve stuff and a variety of products for insullating gas and brake lines and sparkplug wires with close proximity to exhaust headers in fact you can even wrap the headers with stuff too

I ran into the same issue with mine and just bent the lines a bit to make room - no issues yet.

Generally, header wrap significantly reduces the life of the header

I agree with billla 100%... header wrap is not a good idea for a street driven vehicle. I had forgotten about the wrap for wires and lines... very good idea.
