Re: 47-54 Gauges
no but i have 2 or 3 sets of 6 volters... botom line the cost for the 12v rebuild pieces will run you about the same as new gagues.... i personally don't want to buy all those little tiny parts and make a mistake installing them when i can get one built with a warenty for the same price
just my 2 cents GT

Re: 47-54 Gauges
I can understand that, I am going for the barn fresh look and wanted the gages to look barn fresh as well. Guess I will get a $$ from Classic Instruments for a rebuild vs new

Re: 47-54 Gauges
The gauges for the 47-53 should be cheaper than the 54-55 1st series. I could have bought the beazel kit for my 54 and ran the 47-53 gauges, but I wanted the 54 gauges. I also wanted them set up for 12 volt and had to switch from gear drive to electrical for the 700R4 trans. I had mine rebuilt at the tune of nearly $3,000. I know it may sound dumb to most people, but I knew it would bug me not having the correct gauges in my truck. Good luck! Keep us posted. There should be plenty of people here to help you find what you're looking for. Daniel U
