Re: Power window / Door Interchange question..1985 to 1977

Power windows/locks are nice on a new truck but a pain in the butt on a 20 year old truck. You know I just came inside from working at my truck. Tonight I put manual doors on my truck because I was sick of fixing the power doors all the time. There is a bunch of stuff in those power doors that can scew up and there no fun to work with. With mine it seemed like you would fix something on them and then three months later something else wouldv go. Example first it was the wires in the one door, then the wires in the other door. Then it was the lock actuater in the drivers door. Then the lock actuater went in the passenger oor and before I got chance to fix it the window motor went in the passenger door. Anyway I went to manual.
