Hello Board !
Hi my name is Tom, I have been reading this board for some time and I already have changed directions several times on what I am going to do to my 64. This is the same year of the truck my Grandfather used to take me riding in the sticks in. I found this truck in Tennessee not far from Nashville which is where I am from. Here is a pic of my new girl, she is in pretty good shape for a 40+ year old truck. Totally stock 250/3 on the tree and she is all mine. Have a great day!

Thanks a bunch guys AND GALS! WEHEEE women who love trucks is a beautiful thing!!! I hope I don't bug everyone too much because this is my first real restoration and I have LOTS of questions. My first one is where do I find all the Vendors on here. I have found the common ones on the internet like LMC but there has to be others out there and I like to keep my options open before I go to one of the big boys. I like supporting the small business too.

I won't say don't use LMC...they have their place, but the board vendors are well educated, have excellent customer service and usually go above and beyond. And I figger if I don't enjoy the truck restoration, I'll never see my boys!!  I'm jealous of the condition of your truck!!! Hope son's will be there one day. He turns 14 on June 28th. Part of his birthday present will be a paid membership to this site and his own build thread. Then the countdown will be on....finish it by the time he's 16! Wander over to the Board Get-togethers and under the southeast, you'll find a bunches of us yahoos.
