Can anyone run this suffix code through a book or something?
Every site I go to lists my 400 as coming from a Caprice. The suffix code is CKP, and the online sites just say 72 caprice. The casting date on the back of my block, says 10/72 a little late for going into a 72 production model car.
Any ideas? Thanks, TJ

Check the date again. They have mo/day/year on there somewhere. I think that maybe your 0 is an 8 or a 9 or something not cast real well and the date is 1/8/72.
