Question Anyone run just rear bags?

What kind of setup would just rears require? What size tank, compressor etc.. I'm clueless when it comes to bags (I know a c-notch is needed). Thanks.

Re: Anyone run just rear bags?

I ran 2 2600# Firestones w/some schrader valves for almost 2yrs before I upgraded to a compressor, small airtank, & dual gauge/manual controller. I set the air pressure & left them alone.

The only reason I upgraded was I started towing my trailer more frequently & was adjusting the ride height more often.

Items required are: 2 Firestones (or equivalent), 1/4" DOT airline, & 2 schrader valves for a cheap manual fill system; or.... that + 1 Thomas (or equivalent) small air comp, 2-gal airtank, controller for a manual fill system; or.... all of that plus solenoids/valves for an automated system.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Anyone run just rear bags?

Thanks for the info,,, I guess I should have stated I'm trying to make a tail dragger, so it needs to be a automated system so I can adjust the height on the fly.
