on the american racing website they say the wheel will fit the truck. but searching someone said they rub.

Re: wheel/tire question

What offset are the wheels and is the truck lowered now, or will it be in the future? You need at least a standard offset and pref reversed offset to clear 9.5 inch wheels...and those tires will look great at stock or slighlty lowered ride height...

Re: wheel/tire question

the wheels are going on the 67 swb, the frame on it is a 72 frame so it has the 5x5 pattern. the truck is a fleetside. not yet lowered.. i want to get the wheels on there and lower it from there

the wheels are 7.62mm offset/backspace is 5.5

Re: wheel/tire question

If the rear end is a 72, then a 5 inch backspace works well with a 9.5" rim and a 285/60R17 tire on a fleetside truck. Not sure about the offset dimensions though. I just ordered according to the backspace.
A 5.5" backspace may be a little tight on the inner fender, but your tire is a 275 so there may be no problems for you.
