Tonights progress ....
Front bumper install !!!! Sanded the 72' bumper I got off of Timberwolf down tonight , gave it a coat of my favorite color and got it mounted !!! 2 questions though.... is there a difference between front bumper brackets 70' vs. 72' ??? My 70's are about 3" short of reaching the outer holes in the 72' bumper .. the other question..... what should I mount in the turn signal holes of the bumper since they weren't needed ..... anybody did anything creative ???

There are some differences. I just had this conversation, but I don't remember the details. looks good by the way.

Yes the 71/72 bumper brackets are different due to the turn signal placement in the bumper. You need 71/72 outer brackets to mount it correctly. You can move the turnsignals to the bumper and run fog/driving lights in the grill or mount driving lights in the bumper.

i dont have the outer mounts and my bumpers fine, and id put some fog lights in the bumper, the lower the fog lights the better

On my '68, I'm going to run a 71/72 bumper. I'm going to install factory style clear lenses, then run a cheap driving light behind it.
