looks to me like a door striker bolt with the washer, or it may be a front caliper bolt with out the washer.

I appreciate all of your thoughts...Believe me I cannot figure it out.

I think it may not be off our type of truck. I mean...it is 4-5 inches long...and it is a hex head. I cannot even find a hex head bolt on our truck anywhere near that size.

I am even have a hard time finding a hex head bolt...I am sure there are a couple...but not this big.

Maybe it fell off the passing garbage truck.
