The plastic bags helped alot. Only problem is that the PO (or his body man) bondoded the dents in it and I guess that the stripper takes longer on those spots. Had to scrape and put multiple coats on those spots. I dont have it totaly clean and when I get the nerve again I will try the steel wool. But after seeing the dents I decided to just buy a new grill when I start on the rebuild.

mines pretty pitted and dented up but after i put some paint on it looked alot better, goodluck with the rest of it

I might try to clean it up some more then paint the black so it will look better until I start the build

start collecting shopping bags and split them. It will be cheaper. Wal-mart funded mine
