1972 Gmc Super Custom
New Guy trying to learn about my truck.....This truck has MARKER LIGHTS ON TOP OF CAB WITH THE METAL FACTORY FORMED TO THE LIGHTS.....What model or option would this be ? THANKS ! John

It was simply an option, no trim level package came with them.
If it is a cab/shassis with daul rear wheels, then it was mandated federally, but they still charged the buyer for them. |

Roof marker lamp option codes were E56, E57, RO5, and UO1. Stock on 1 ton cab-chassis trucks like Andy said and were special order on 1/2 and 3/4 tons. You could also get 'em installed by the dealer but they were the Yankee #77 chrome housing lights that were used in the 60's.
