They certainly would be good trailer tires, and that is an interesting tidbit.
Maybe a place specializing in trailers would actually have them easy to come by. I'll have to check that out. All the tire shops I've asked stock only radials. They can get bias ply, but they are special interest/special order, and cost plenty.

So is that 7:00-15LT the full marking? I see a width and a diameter, but nothing for sidewall height. Maybe they didn't do that back then.

Who has access to the OEM size, or sizes?
I'd like to know what the factory originally put on.
I'm pretty sure these are taller than stock size, but those are the only numbers on the tire. the only numbers I se are the 7.00-15LT. I have a different tire on the spare and it could be original so I will check the markings on that tommarow. The truck only has 43,000 original miles on it.
