Glove Box Latch Removal - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm trying to swap the inner plastic piece of my glove box for another that has an intact hinge, but I can't get the chrome knob off the latch. What's the trick to getting it off ?

Nevermind guys. After I posted it occurred to me to use the search function. Found some useful info and I got the lock out.
