Rivets in the rear bumper?
OK... what the heck were the rivets in the rear dress bumpers for. I just had the chromer remove them and fill the holes,... but its buggin me. Repop bumpers just have the holes, but the originals had the rivets in there. What are their purpose???

I had not see that, mine all had bolts no rivets.

Maybe the P.O. of your truck did that? My original bent up bumpers had the holes open as well. Never seen them with rivets in them.
Anyone know what they're for? I had always thought they were there for a bumper jack, but those are usually slotted, right?
