I got my truck back from the body shop
I just got my truck back from the body shop, looks good to me, he blended the pearl/clearcoat from the bed sides into the cab, new Bumper & Bumper brackets ect. I'm not real happy with the bumper though, looks like a crappy chrome job or something, it's kinda wavy on the top, I think it came from LMC. Any of you guys have questionable quality issues on these sport bumpers?

You don't have to disclose this if you don't want to, but how much did it set the insurance company back? And did the other driver's ins. co. pony up? Was there ever any frame damage? I finally replaced my bumper from my incident just a couple weeks ago. Turns out the brackets bent a little bit, but a bfh got them back into line

Re: I got my truck back from the body shop
Hey thanks guys, yea, it is oooo good to have it back, & it was fast, only took 3-4 days, the estimate was $2,400 no frame damage, thank goodness, I think the welded in hidden hitch assy save me, both other vehicles were totalled, so they hit me pretty hard. Here's a couple mor pic's for ya.

Re: I got my truck back from the body shop
Hey thanks guys, I'd been drooling over this truck for 10 years, now I've owned it for a little over a year.
Hey Mutha, thanks for the bad news well that sucks, if it was all wavy on the bottom I wouldn't care, but it's right on the top, I suppose these are being made over seas or something? |

Re: I got my truck back from the body shop
Here's the damage pic's it's really hard to see how much was pushed in in the pic, doesn't look bad at all compared to the other 2 vehicles that used it to come to a complete stop.
The rear wheel's are 10" & the tires are 305/50R/15's BFG Euro T/A's unfortunately unavailable now I guess. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=243666 Last edited by 71chevylowrider; 06-22-2007 at 12:00 AM. |
