Re: looking at this

Have any pics of the bottom of the floor pan? I would like to see some from under the truck. Pic seems a little high for a long bed.

Re: looking at this

$3000.00 seems a little high to me for condition. It is a 67 cab, that is the most rare of all our trucks [small back window], but there is always that stuff you didnt see that you should plan for. I would start at a much lower offer since this truck is low optioned.

Re: looking at this

I would check it in person. I know people say the floors are good, but trust me, don't trust a word they say they just want your money. Seriously if you can see it in person do it.

Re: looking at this

If the driver side rocker needs replaced, chances are the passenger side and cab corners are in need of attention too. Cheapo paint job inside and out. Who knows what that is hiding. But like said above, small back window. What does it look like underneath? How good is the motor, steering, suspension, etc? Not a $3000 truck to me from the pics. I'd start at half that. The worst he can say is no.

Re: looking at this

As I've learned from my short time on the board, I think you will find wildly different prices throughout the land. In Seattle, my '70 was in better shape then that when I bought it. And I got it for $1500.

Re: looking at this

Yeah I would ask if he would go for 1500 but I wouldn't pay more than 2000.
