Re: big enough air compressor ?

It should but you really need to check the specs and air consumption on the air tools you are running and be sure.Remember to add a little capacity as wear will cause a decrease in efficency over time. Also you will need at least a 30 amp circuit to run it.

Re: big enough air compressor ?

Just curious,Why pay so much for a compressor that small when you can $30 more for a 60 gallon?

Re: big enough air compressor ?

I want to be able to move it around alone if I have to. Plus I have limited space in my garage.

Get longer air hoses so you won't need to move the air compressor around or if space is an issue, put it outside behind the garage and pull your lines through the wall. You'll appreciate the extra air capacity............Bamm

And it will also keep the sound down in the garage. Just a warning. If you purchase a compressor from Harbor freight buy the extra warranty.
But I would also buy the bigger one. I have a 5 h.p. 60 gallon and running a da is no problem. It just runs the whole time I am using it though.

Check out this one for a little more, I know they're good units, a friend of mine had one for his ornamental ironwork business and he swore by it, not at it.
