68 door window questions

Has anyone used Lmc's window channel kit? Also, I can't roll up the drivers window without lifting it with my hand or it sticks. Is this just an adjustment or should I replace the regulator? Thanks, Jeff.

Get a new or used regulator. I have seen a repair kit but it doesn't do anything for the gear teeth on the lever that actually raises the window. You can inspect it first to see but since you have to remove it anyway, get the replacement. It will last longer.

Jeff, you can probably get a regulator thru one of the BB vendors.I think Brothers is near you.Since they help support the BB most members try to use them when possible. Also for many items the vendors from here will have a better price.

Jeff, I have had good luck with lmc parts but you never know. sometimes new is bad. I would suggest a NEW regulator. For all the effort involved I would hate to see a used give you troulbe shortly. Good luck.

Re: 68 door window questions

I have ordered several parts from LMC and never had a problem. They are kind and really know their stuff. I actually had one guy talk me out of an expensive replacement part for a rebuild kit that I didnt see. Saved me a couple of hundred dollars.

That said I have not used their window channel kits, but I do need one. If you get one let me know how the repair goes if you can.

Re: 68 door window questions
