Re: 502
a stock 502/502 should run in the 11s without a blower if the car doesnt weigh 4500 lbs. You need to figure out what your goal is for the motor and then come up with a combo that works. Spinning a little blower to make 5 lbs of boost on a 502 will heat the air up alot and detonation and general undrivability on the street will occur.

Re: 502
man i hope it has a good warranty lol. i dynoed it at home on a dyno program i have it said a supercharged 502 will overheat but with the right fan and rad combo it should run 170 which is overbut acceptable.mostly this truck will be going to white rock, around town on a cruise and up to ashcroft. it is all open road mostly so over heating is not a factor.and for detonation im not gonna be pushing this motor to the limit. but i will consult my dads friend he is an engine builder and had made some of the sickest stuff out there but i will consult him first.

Re: 502
according to weiand- run 4 lbs of boost will give u what u need and anything above is certain detonation. i measured it all out drop the motor 2" cut that front crossmember a bit and get a 3" cowl u will have 1" clearance.
