Tissue Dispenser

Ok guys...just came in from sitting in my truck and day-dreaming and had a weird idea. I have the stock AM radio in my truck and Im gonna leave it...but what about putting a cd player/radio in a vintage GM tissue dispenser under the dash for more modern tunes?? I dont think Ive seen it done before but I think it might work. Any ideas? I am planning on putting some small speakers under my seat (a friend did in his '67 and sounded good with the dual coil stock replacement in the dash). I put a cd player in the glove box of my '72 Nova but wanted something different for my truck. You guys have an opinion on it? Seen it done before?

Re: Tissue Dispenser

I have a truck one stashed. They`re tough to find, though. But,any car one would be cool. The truck ones are color-keyed with rest of interior parts. They may be too small. It`s been a long time since I`ve looked at it.

Re: Tissue Dispenser

you can do it withthe car style, I've seen it both in person and in the magizines. I had found a GM accessory tissue dispensor a few years ago and was gonna do it, but i said to hell with it and cut the dash. Sold the tissue thing on here.
