I did it!

Well I measured, thought, measured, asked, measured, thought, measured and measured once more. Then the cutting and welding started and I got a new roof on the truck. I got to tell you a am so fired up! I love it when a plan comes together! Well I know
but you will have to wait till I can get the pics off the camera. Tuesday I should be in the office to feed the need for you guys. Time for a beer or 12
Later

It's always satisfying when something comes off as planned.... My hat's off to you. Having been there, done that I know it's not an easy job. Keep the momentum going....

Re: I did it!

Here are the pics. I used the rebar to align and hold the new section of roof. Look at the junk I cut off of there. It was a mess.

Re: I did it!

That is AWESOME! Congrats on doing it yourself

Edit: Cut the pillars off the trashed roof and you've got a sled for winter!

Re: I did it!

It feels great to get that rusty junk out of my cramped garage. But now is on to more rust in the floors and rockers.
Funny you mention sledding the hills are the one thing i really miss about PA. You can go sledding in delaware unless you are being pulled.

Re: I did it!

Looks like the roof on my truck, lol. I have a spare clipped cab I bought years ago to do that, but never got around to it...maybe one day it will happen!
