Lift Kit

So I have been looking through to find a good suspension lift kit for my truck. I had some things I didn't know...I have a 72 LWB K10 P/U...just wondering does it have a 3-bolt open knuckle steering arm? and are the rear springs 52 or 56"'s since they've never been modified?

Re: Lift Kit

So...here's my problem...I have a 72 that needs a 6" lift to clear those 36's, right? Every F---ing place I go to has 2" lifts or 4" lifts...nothing over that designed for a 67-72 is there any interchangibility between 73-87 lifts and 67-72 i mean i've found 73-87 6"s all over but not a single one that would work with my truck...i'm getting pretty irritated just seeing if anyone knows anything that would work

Re: Lift Kit

You might clear them with a 4" lift depending on the way you use the truck.Lets talk 73-87 springs..The front springs are longer, and the rear are wider ( I think?) and longer.I'v heard some had 52" springs like the 67-72s but havent comfirmed that.I'v got a 6" rear lift and 4" front lift on my truck from Rough Country.I believe they sell a full 6" lift though..I kinda like the 6/4 lift stance though..

Re: Lift Kit

It has a add a leaf in the rear. So,with it removed it would be a 4" lift all around.Tires are 35s.I just posted some pics in the 4wd section.

Re: Lift Kit

I had heard you could use 1 ton leaf springs to give you about 3"s any truth to that
