Stainless radiator hose
The way my custom brackets are set up I can't use a stock radiator hose on my 71 C 10. I have to use a straight out t-stat housing to miss the alternator and then go to my stock radiator. I have seen the hose in the link provided and I need to know if you can form these into the shape I want and hold that form.

Re: Stainless radiator hose
They work great! I have had them on a car for over ten years now, never a problem.

Re: Stainless radiator hose
They have rubber ends with hose clamps. I have had them for about 3 years and no problems.

Re: Stainless radiator hose
I've got those hoses too...had them for 3-4 years as well. This is an old pic, and the engine looks a little better now.
Don't buy the hose from Jegs, though. I got mine for WAY cheaper through this guy: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/36-Ne...5147QQtcZphoto

Re: Stainless radiator hose
they will hold shape, and i have a spare in my basement I don't need - either 24" or 36". need it? i will give it to you at a deeply discounted price.

Re: Stainless radiator hose
PS - the one i have comes with chrome/polished caps (i think they're polished, actually).
i thought i would need it for the lower hose install on my LS1, but i used a factory hose instead. go figure?

Re: Stainless radiator hose
Yeah, I think they work pretty good. They bend relatively sharp (see top hose coming from motor in the pic) and WILL hold their shape. I got mine from my local speed shop. I used them for top and bottom just didnt want to mess around with guessing which hose would work for an LS1 w/ a stock style radiator.
