Would this look tacky?

I wanna make a hood to resemble a 379 peterbilt hood to go on my truck with lights and switches, stacks etc... i want to go for the mini rig look but i dont want it to look stupid gimme ur opinion on what u think i should do

i would say its gonna be tough to get it to look good but its a cool idea. i say go for it if you have enough time, money, talent, and patience. here is a pic of a 73-87 with some type of semi stuff done to it. im not real sure of all he did, its kinda wierd lookin gthough

i would say its gonna be tough to get it to look good but its a cool idea. i say go for it if you have enough time, money, talent, and patience. i was gonna attach a pic of a truck that did this, it is a 73-87 though, but the pic is too big

Of course, you could just go all out and buy you a pete cab hood etc and cut the hood down to size.. here locally I have seen one of these pickups.. one ton with a flatbed.. with the pete cab and hood set to match.. 454 powered 4x4 etc But still anything that looks like a pete is going to look good to me!
