Re: 72 rear end ?
I don't remember off the top of my head, but it's the same width as the 12 bolt in the 73 and up, I'm sure you can find one of those to measure.

Re: 72 rear end ?
Whats up Sal, on the 72 rear end its 57 in. from the back of drum 2 drum. And the pads or saddles where you bolt down to trailling arms are 40in., Thats the back side of the rear end, Back of saddle to saddle, not hole to hole. The 72's saddles bolt right up, and give you about 3/4 inch more sticking out on each wheel. I hope that will help. [IMG][/IMG]

Re: 72 rear end ?
The '72 diff is 1 1/2" wider overall....so 3/4" per side like gulfcoast66 said
Short hijack: Hey gulfcoast66 I see you're in Baytown....I have a good friend in Baytown, DeWald Motorsports and he also owns dragtrucks.com....don't suppose you know him? Last edited by Captainfab; 06-30-2007 at 12:09 AM. |

Re: 72 rear end ?
..."72", installed ,however it would wise to trim at least 1" out of the wheel well lip for clearance...
