frame question
Could you move the engine back on an 85 frame and put an old car body on to make a "rat rod"?

Re: frame question
With a welder, torch, and some fab skills you can do any thing... Rat rods kick a$$ I think a rat rod will be my next build.
maybe something like this

Re: frame question
word of advice if you ever see one of these cars in person: don't ask the owner about his "rat rod" ... they tend to get a little aggravated with that terminology.

Re: frame question
Shane,
Not all owners of cars like that are real touchy about the term "Rat Rod". I'm a member of 2 other boards and everyone on both are glad they have one. I would post links to both but don't know how the admin feels about that sort of thing. If it is OK for me to post them let me know and I will be glad to do so. Red Rat, I have seen pics of that car before. Think it looks better each time I see it. |
