65 chevy 1/2 ton i may buy what do u think for a project.

I came across this truck on the web and its for a steal of a price.

The 350 engine has Edelbrock intake Holley Carb etc. It is built very similar to a 1971 'Vette. The Turbo 350 tranny has a stage 2 Hurst shift kit. 3.73 posi rear axle. Front end has been sub-framed to an '85 Chev - big power disc brakes and power steering. Five bolt rims all around make finding mags much easier. The truck has been lowered, The box is completely redone including tubs and flares. New windshield, seats and carpet inside.
I dont like the green on the front but its only paint right.

Does anyone have a truck this year that they have put an airride suspension on where i could sit what it looks like when lowered.

I love everything but the green. That would have to go.

paint is very uneven, the side shot show how the different panels were painted at in different situations, from base coats/primer, angles, paint batches or amount of coats or something.

the green is just flat out nasty.

i dont know what the f the tail light/exhuast tips are all about put i would seriously put them back if possible.

other wise it appers to be a very straight and clean truck. for the right price i would buy it and correct the few minor things but it would be a ride to be proud of reguardless

Not bad, how much are they asking.
I have a 66 that I'm working on. No air ride yet though.
Check the 60-66 forum, there are a couple of 60-66s with air ride suspension.
