Fuse box on the inner fender.
Has anyone ever put the fuse box on the inner fender using an aftermarket wiring harness kit? I figure it would be easier to work on and add gadgets as time goes on.

Re: Fuse box on the inner fender.
id recomend using a sealed box of some sort. the reason they put them inside the cab is to protect from corrosion.
i've gutted a rice burner box (don't remember what it came out of) and put a newer style fuse buss inside of it. snap the lid on and everything is relatively safe. you might not like having to reroute everything to fit that configuration though. |

Re: Fuse box on the inner fender.
I have all of the wiring out of the truck anyway and I'm waiting on a EZ harness. I was thinking that I would need a sealed box. The mini that EZ sells is sealled.

Re: Fuse box on the inner fender.
hey if you're starting from scratch, have at 'er!!
I've used stainless tubing as conduit to the various electrical connections. makes for a very clean and detailed look. just a thought. I'm faaar from doing the "pretty" stuff on mine. kinda' miss the "complete" stage! |
