cupholder/console

I've seen lots of pics here of consoles with bucket seats but none with a bench seat. I really dont want to take the bench out of my K20 but I hate driving without a cupholder. Anybody build a console for there 4*4 or a console that might rest on the bench that doesnt fall off the seat every time you turn?

Re: cupholder/console

There is a company that makes a pretty nice one, but I can't remember the name. It is set up to be held in with the seatbelt if you want. I remember Swervin used to have one before he did his bucket seats, so he might be able to tell you who made it. They looked similar to these, but I don't think that is the brand. http://www.truckspecialties.com/wolf_consoles.htm

I have a wooden box I built with the help of a friend who is into woodworking. It is stained and finished, and has a padded top covered in fabric that is a close match to my seatcover. It isn't pretty because it is so big and square, but I love it.

The bottom is cut to match the contor of the seat, and my FIL glued some felt to the bottom when he finished it. Thge felt keeps it from sliding around.

I doubt it is somethig you would want, but it might give you ideas. Let me know if you need a picture.

Re: cupholder/console

Adam are you talking about something like this? My son bought theis seat with a fold down console in the center, even though they are individual buckets it still serves as a whole bench.
