WIW 67 only ram assist PS complete set up

I pulled a still sealed full of fluid complete( pump, lines, ram and center link, bracket for ram to mount to the frame and hardware) 67 only ram assist power steering set up at the bone yard today that looks to be is greasy, but nice working condition. I know these are getting hard to find and thought I would pull it and put it on here and if it doesn't sell then off to ebay, but I do not know what to ask for it. I do not have any pics at this time, but the pump has a barcode on it telling me it has been replaced at some point, but it looks just like the stock pump.TIA

I`d think at least $150.It`s so uncommon to find this that I doubt there`s any "going rate".But,it`s got a definate good value.I say $150 and no less and maybe more.It depends on how quick you want it gone(if you`re selling it).If you list it here and get no sale,I`d be curious what you`d get on Ebay. Why not contact a Vendor and see what they say.

Re: WIW 67 only ram assist PS complete set up

K You kinda hit the nail on the head I was thinking since no real response other than interest in buying I will most likely just clean it up a bit and list it on ebay. I won't say exactly what I paid for it,but let's ay it was close to a benjamin and a little over an 2 1-2 hrs of my time counting loading up to go to the yard, pulling it off and getting home and unloading my tools and parts.Getting the mounting bracket for the ram off the manual gear box as a PITA , took longer than anything else did Thank you for taking the time to respond, I appreciate it very much...Randy

Would you mind explaining how this setup works and what the idea behind it is? Thanks

Saw one on ebay sell a few months ago for $450 That ram (the hard to find part) is the same for 63-67 trucks. The pump however is 67 and 68 trucks and 66 GMC according to my hollander.

Does the pump fit on an I-6, V-8, or both?

Not sure on that, anybody know how to tell? I do know the truck it came off of had a 283 or 327(intake oil filler tube) motor was still in the truck, and had nice non scarred cylinders in it, well at least the pass side did anyways, the PS head was missing

Re: WIW 67 only ram assist PS complete set up

The pump itself will fit v8 and straight 6 but obviously the brackets will be different.

Re: WIW 67 only ram assist PS complete set up

I have the same setup on my truck right now. Mine leaks. I am not sure if it leaks at the ram or just the fitting. I would be interested but I just don't have the cash right now. I haven't made time to look at my setup to see what i need exactly.
