4wd to 2wd ?
I know this has been beat to death,BUT. Anyone who has done the swap,IN YOUR OPINION, would it be easier to cut down a SWB truck frame and use the blazer mounts or just use the clip and flip method on the 4wd frame? I have both,so I won't have to buy any frames. Also for the guys who have flipped the rear, how does it ride and did you use the stock rear springs. Thanks in advance.

Re: 4wd to 2wd ?
I would reuse the 4x frame....all the body mounts are there for it...hardest part is getting the front 2x crossmember in the right place. No idea how the rear would ride with a flip....probably as good as it rides now. You have the parts to put a trailing arm crossmember in, why not do that?

Re: 4wd to 2wd ?
X3- MUCH easier. Flip rides pretty good actually. I went to bags in the rear on trailing arms and the difference isn't worth the extra trouble unless, like me, you just have to have the trailing arms.

Re: 4wd to 2wd ?
Gringoloco, what did you do where the rear coil spring or bag mounts? I'm referring to the bottom side of the frame where the spring sits.

Re: 4wd to 2wd ?
Check out this thread. I haven't finished posting yet, but the Blazer has been on the road for a while now.
