Yes, it'll definately stay where the switch was last put to... And if your dash happens to be rattling going back into a field, and your girl kicks the dash to get it to stop rattling(which never fixed it) and all the sudden the truck stops running and you cant crank it over... Go ahead and check the position of the switch first before you look all over the truck in amazment that it was just running and now it isnt, and there is no apparent reason why, until you realize that she kicked the damn selector switch and put it on the empty tank. and it was dark, then she wanted to say my truck was a piece of crap but then it was all her fault all along and girls are dumb and I'm sorry for this.... STUPID GIRLS!!!

lol, that's actually exactly how I fix my radio when one of the four speakers (and it's always a different one) decides to call it quits on me - a nice fist smack under the radio or a light kick on the panel to the right of it (above the tach) seems to bring sound right back. Having a girl to kick it is obviously the better option

Re: ***More Junk to add to my collection!!!***

Well Ive got some good news and some bad news... The good news is that the fuel tank valve and switch work to switch over to the driver side tank... also the sending unit that was reading waay past full decided to free itself up and start working... the bad thing is that the tank leaks about a gallon an hour... so.. im gonna have to change both tanks so I might as well changed the sending units as well as all of the fuel lines and the switching valve while im in there... Im thinking that itll be easier to take the bed off to change both tanks and lines versus dropping the tanks and stuff from under the truck... itll also give me a chance to clean up the frame, replace shocks, and install the trailer hitch.... anybody got any input on this,?
where have you all bought tanks etc? Id imagine that the only place to buy a switching valve is the dealer?

thanks for any and all help doods...

take em easy

Yeah the dealer should have the switching valve. Not sure about where to get the tanks other than a junkyard. JC Whitney sells new ones, they even have polyurethane ones now but I'd stick with steel tanks.
