67 Vent windows

I have a very nice set of 67 vent windows.....but they have one problem....the shafts where the lock assembles goes is rust and messed up..Has any one changed the main shafts or repaired there before...I sure would like to use these windows.....just don't know what to do without messing up these nice things....

Looking at the replacement handles it looks like the '68-72 have new shafts with them and the 67's don't. I would remove the handles and see if I could clean up the shafts and put new handles on them.... Just a thought.

Re: 67 Vent windows

Eric,

I wonder if the shafts are the same on say a 64-66 chevy. The handles look the same if I'm not mistaken. If so they might not be too hard to find.
