If you get a chance watch the repeat of Thursday's episode of "Taken" on the Scifi channel before the final episode Friday night at 9pm. Thursdays episode featured a bunch of Nebraska boys driving Chevy trucks (73-87) to an abandon gas station to confront the half alien girl. One of the Chevy's self ignites and blows up

after getting the girl mad. This happens during the final 1/2 hour, so check it out at 8:30pm or so.

Upon further review, it was the GMC the blew up, they took off in the Chevy.

You might be right about the saddle tanks, or a leaking fuel line to the carb.....
