radio advise
I ned to replace the radio in that 84 i redoing and would like a nice upgrade.I dont really want to cut any metal or anything.Any ideas?Thanks

How much do you want to spend ? Is a CD player a requirement ?
For some basic tunes with FM/AM radio and cassette, theres the Dual XC4100 that will fit in your dash with no mods. As a bonus it has an Aux input on the front for connecting an iPod or even a portable CD player. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-g5MK76F...00&I=070XC4100 |

That one isnt bad,do they make an adapter for the wiring as i dont want to cut the factory radio wiring.

Crutchfield used to give you the wiring adapter free if you buy your equipmnt from them.

When I ordered my stereo, they gave me a wiring adapter but it was not the correct one. My 78 and 77 both have a 3 pin connector and the speaker wiring is seperate. I'm not sure what the 80's trucks have, that provided adapter may work for them.
