Can anybody tell me if a leaf spring rear from a 2WD truck is the same as the leaf spring rear from a 4WD truck? Thanks, big

The springs are the same just less of a arch, the front hangers are different and the shackles are longer on a 2 wheel drive 1/2 ton.

Re: ? for the 4WD guys

My 72 C20 had wider spring perch widths, AND an off center, center pin (front to back) compared to a sprung 69' 4x4.

Re: ? for the 4WD guys

4X4 2 1/2", 2WD 2 1/4" width springs. Also the rear frame sections between 4X4 and 2WD (leaf) frames.
