got a question for the stock guys
You guys w/ a total stock setup, I need to find out what the factory height is of a 71 swb, the P/O lowered my truck the old school way and the ride quality isn't the best,but it sits just right and I have nothing to go on as to how much the P/O lowered it. HELP

Are you wanting to know just to know, or are you planning on putting the suspension back to stock? What might help you is if you measure what you have, and post it in this thread for comparison purposes.

Or just find a set of stock springs and install them............that shoud get you back to stock.

i think what he wants, is to figure out "how low" he actually is currently, so he can go out and pick up the proper lowering equipment to maintain his height. sounds like his current setup is rigged, and wants to eliminate that in preference of the right equipment.
(and id like to measure mine too). |

For '69 it was 70 inches for the 1/2 ton.both step side and fleet. The open tailgate should be 27 1/4 inches. K10 was 71 3/4"
