removeable roof
I'm a million dollars away from actually doing it but i've always wanted a removeable top on a truck. anybody done it?
I'm thinking it might be somewhat affordable to start by converting the doors to swing without the top. then when the wallet recovers find the best way to chop the top and make it replaceable seems like the cab might be stable enough to not need alot of extra bracing? |

Re: removeable roof
Same concept as a targa top on a Corvette.
I know (internet) a guy that did the same thing to a 4th Gen. Camaro, which was never factory. Your basically talking about the top part of a Blazer for a truck though. You already have something to work with - just start with the Blazer windshield components and top, and you will be set. Then modify your back to accept the Blazer top, and viola - you got it. DLB |

Re: removeable roof
Get a Blazer! You get a removeable top AND a back seat.

Re: removeable roof
Funny, I was just wondering about this this morning on the way to work. Any pics of a convertible C-10?

Re: removeable roof
Every single conversion I have seen leaks like a stuck pig when it rains, not worth the time or money IMO...
