Wood Grain Interior

Anyone know where you can get replacements for the wood grain interior for both the doors and the instrument cluster? I remember seeing the instrument cluster overlay somewhere, but have never seen any for the door panels. Was this interior a pretty rare option for a 75 GMC Sierra Classic?

Re: Wood Grain Interior

They have door overlays, dash and cluster/bezels on ebay all the time. I wrote several companies about them. They were just ones that stuck on over your old, and I dunno about the older ones. I checked on some for 81-87 and I don't know if they made them to fit over your doors or not.

I'm thinking lmc and/or classicparts/chevyduty had them listed as being woodgrain for the older trucks.

Just checked my classic parts book, they list the woodgrain for 77-80 so not sure about yours.

Re: Wood Grain Interior

Yeah my aluminum trim piece doesn't look too bad. It used to have a painted lace design in the middle of it, but I polished that off. The wood grain insert is pretty deteriorated on the top where the sun always hits it.
Anyone else have any leads on this?

Re: Wood Grain Interior

classic parts has the trim too, you guys should check it out online maybe I just missed the ones you guys need. I didn't check for the trim at all but I know they sell the trim that goes around them, not sure on what years though.

Re: Wood Grain Interior

This is the only trim I found and it is for 77 and up. I think the interiors for the 73-76 are different, lucky me! The 77 and up definitely won't fit.

Re: Wood Grain Interior

I went to a discount store and bought the stick shelf paper that is wood grain and it turned out real good. It has been on there about 2 years and still looks good.
