WTB fitting for air shocks on 72 4x4

Does anyone have the fill fitting for Monroe air shocks for my truck? (it is the fitting that looks like a tire valve stem). I cannot find this fitting anywhere... everyone says to look at a junk yard or I have to buy the whole setup. Thanks in advance.

I got mine on EBay pretty cheap a few years ago. I also found some parts at the local parts store but they were for Monroe air shocks. The stem for them might work. Good luck.

You can buy a universal air shock plumbing kit at Orilley. It comes with the tubing, nuts, seals, and fill valve.

Re: WTB fitting for air shocks on 72 4x4

Let me get some pics for you Thursday Blue_71. I have the fitting but valve insert is missing. To be honest with you, I haven't really looked at it that close yet. Lots of other things on my to do list. I will check it all out in the morning and post some pics. I was also told that if there is no air in the shocks, they are ruined. Is this true?

Backyard88- what is Orilley's? I am assuming that it is an auto parts store.
