The Post Your Ground Clearance Specs Thread
Let's give the 4wd section a little more life.Post your ground clearance specs.
My 71 K10 (suppose to have 4" lift).35 inch tires-11 inches under the front and rear diffs.44 front,12 bolt rear.19 inches under the t-case skidplate. |

I too have about 4 inches of lift, and 35's. My clearances are about the same, with 11" under the front and rear diffs, 44 front, 12 bolt rear. and 20" to the bottom of the mighty np 205, no skid plate on mine.

Front bumper: 29" - stock style
Front Diff: 12" - High pinion Dana T-case skid plate: 22" Rock sliders: 34" - no rockers just tubes now Rear Diff: 11.25" - 14 bolt FF Gas tank: 30" - custom fuel cell Rear bumper: 33" - square tube Tires are 39.5 TSL's - @6psi Lift is 6" Alcans w/shackles. Still want more ground clearance, looking @ going 42's. |

Hardly anyone has a factory skid plate.Not the best to establish a standard.Is this just for kicks?r,are you trying to establish a baseline?

Threads just for kicks,yeah,not many would have the 205 skidplates (atleast a stock one)--K5s and Jimmys only..But,I snatched one from a wrecked one

front to rear, here ya go. Seems pretty consistant with the rest.
39.5 trxus sts, 2" body and I think 4" lift (stock rear leafs with 4" blocks) warn bumper bottom = 30" D44 = 12.75 factory skid spaced off frame 1" = 22" 14 bolt = 11.5 Bottom of ladder bars hanging under axle tube = 14" Rear bumper home made 6" tube = 32" frame at door = 27" bottom of open door = 33"

I've got 27 inches under the front bumper of the 69 w/ 6" suspension lift and 33" tires..Now to get some 35s or 37s...
