Rear Shock Install 72 K10

I'm just about done installing the 4" lift. I still need to install the rear shocks.

Whats the trick to removing the top bolts? I've never seen shock mounts with the top bolt inside a cup like bracket.
Theres not much room between the frame and the bed, but I guess thats the expected way to get to the bolt head? I guess you have to custom bend a wrench?

Any experiences would be appreciated.
