Bags or coilovers

So i just bought a 69 C10 SWB i was on leave for a week before heading over here to iraq and i found this truck and had no intentions on buying a truck but for the price and the condition of the truck i couldn't pass up on it. I want a truck that handles as close to a car as i can get. the suspension is the first thing i'm going to tear into on this truck. but, i'm not all that knowlegeable about suspensions. which is better bags or coilovers? i've been reading alot about IFS front ends and 4-links. but again i don't know much about it. anyways any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Re: Bags or coilovers

Glad to have ya aboard

If it were me I'd go with the bags, I've heard that if setup right that bags can give you good handling & a smooth ride

But, there are a lot of guys on here that know how to better answer your question
