New Panel in the Neighborhood
My friend down the road had been looking for an Advance Design Panel lately. He`s had a few and decided he was getting another to keep. This was a great find about an hour away. The seller moved east from California and had nine at one time. This was his last one and Tom got all his parts with it.N.O.S.this and used that, including a second set of artillery wheels and a perfect rear fender(same color). The front bumper and pan are in the back. The original seats are covered in blue cloth as well as the door panels. It`s a 4spd and has the crank inserts in place of the babbits. There is no rust on this truck...

Wow! Nice find! What are the plans for it? I take it the PO had plans, hence the firewall?

Re: New Panel in the Neighborhood
It`s hard to say what Tom will do.I hope he doesn`t mess it up.He didn`t even know what artillery wheels wre until I told him. And,he calls himself a vendor. He will build it for traveling,so mods will be done.It has a newer rear(open shaft),like`60s or`70s.He has a frame with a Pacer clip that could end up undr this.He has a 292 he mentioned putting in.But,who knows with him.He likes to change his mind alot(AADD?).He does tend to like bright colors.I have some pictures of some really nice clean resto rods to show him to try to steer him straight.I have some retro-style pics, too. He has the headlight spears and fender bars.As well as the bullet lights for the rear.I think he should go the`50s fully accessorized route. He doesn`t have thr reserve to do a clean custom.
