Power steering pump questions

Will a power steering pump off a 73-87 truck using long water pump brackets mount to thge short pump brackets? I'm using the long pump stuff now, but eventually, I will will be using the short pump and want to know if the power steering pump will work with both.

Re: Power steering pump questions

Not sure if this correct, someone will know for sure. I think the Pwr steering pumps are all the same. But the brackets & pulleys change slightly. All your brackets & pulleys need to be for a long /or short water pump config. Another thing to consider is the pressure hose & fitting on the pump & steering box.
