Beautiful Day for Truck Work
One of those days when it is really nice to be in the south. Disassembly began today. It's not going to be a total frame off, but I'm going to try and do as much as I can. Goal is to be reassembled by End of September. Maybe no exterrior paint, but drivable for Crusing the Coast.
Oh this is the adverse conditions I had to work in today. This is the in the serious shade temp

This is what I got through today. First time going this far on her. Definitely a learning experience. Man the trash that you can find in the cowl and hidey holes after 30 years.

Last pic for today. She's all tucked away for visions of a clean frame, fresh paint ed frame and engince compartment, and a non-rusty front end.
Have a good one all. Feels really good when you make progress.

Looks like you had some fun, alright... I'm new at this, is there a reason why you started at the front? I took the box off first for some instant gratification, lol...

My truck is still sitting in the driveway with a major antifreeze leak out the intake.. it needs to be fixed but it's storming like heck outside, whole town is flooded.. sucks.

Pain in the butt bolts!
I used a nut splitter, I figure nuts and bolts are cheaper than knuckles... chiseled the first one and damn near broke my hand with the ballpeen...
