Re: Dropped truck pics

From what I've seen, drops vary quite a bit depending on a number of factors which are too many to get into here (tire size, what's used to drop, etc.). Always happy to show my 3/4, which will be a 3.5/5.5 tomorrow when I pick it up. Should mention that in the pic below I have 3" coild from a board member in front, and 4" coils from Brother's in back.

Re: Dropped truck pics

Drop pics can be deceiving I find...sometimes the truck looks level, same drop on another truck there is a raked appearance. In the pic above the truck looks pretty level, but I am assuming with a 3-4 the rear sits higher than the front?

Re: Dropped truck pics

TIRE SIZES fellas will help to determine if the drop is correct for your truck. One crucial part of the puzzle.

They are 295/60/15's on an 8 inch wheel and are 30 inches tall. They fit fine no rubbing but at the track they lose air when I launch...so I need a wider wheel to prevent that.

You're right. Depending on where I take a picture it can look anywhere from level to raked. Now that I have the 5.5 in the back I think it's a little too level (if there is such a thing). But I've only seen it in one spot. I'll get pics soon and let others tell me what it looks like. But I still wonder what it would look like if the rubber wasn't so fat.
