Wheel adaptors
Does anybody use wheel adaptors and what are you thought on them?

i never had a need to. they will ofset your wheel to the out side a little and put a little extra load on your wheel bearings on the other side they will give you a wider track making it corner better then putting more stress on all your suspension

Back in the day they were made with cast aluminum, but now they are billet and very tough. As for putting more load, I am not too sure, if you buy a different offset, does that change the load characteristics? I'd say use them, but DO NOT SCIMP!! buy the best quality you can find and then I wouldn't go over 2" thick, maybe under that just to be safe. By the time you buy good Billet spacers ($50 a piece) and the price of the wheels, you could probably buy new wheels to fit, just a thought.

There's a few other people on here that will recommend this guy. I've been really happy with mine and haven't had any issues with them loosening up or anything else. Good fitment as well. I either had to run these or pay mucho dinero for a set of wheels with custom offset. I chose the former.

I run billet spacers also-- torque correctly and use locktite for added assurance.

He can make just about anything you want down to a minimum 3/4" thickness I believe. Mine are 1.25" thick and adapt from 5x5 to 5x4.75. The only reason they were justifiable for me was because the wheels were practically free
