Cab mount question
I had a 3/4 ton 2wd drive cab for my 4x4 and now I have a c10. I bought the 4wd cab mounts and it seems the cab is approx. and 1 to 2 inches too low. I read the other threads and I am still a little confused. Can someone help out with this?

Re: Cab mount question
So you got 4x4 mounts but you are trying to put the cab on a 1/2 ton 2wd chassis right? If so then you need 1/2 ton 2wd body mounts. The 4x4 ones wont work.

Re: Cab mount question
No. I have a 4x4 3/4 ton chassis and I am trying to put the C10 on it. By some of the posts I assumed I couold just get the stock cab mounts for the 3/4 ton or the 4x4 and they would work.

Re: Cab mount question
You should be able to use the 4wd mounts with the 2wd 1/2 ton cab on your 4wd chassis with no problems.I have a 2wd 1/2 ton cab on my 71 shorty 4wd and I use the C20,K10,K20 body mounts and everything lines up right.
